Hi and welcome to Green Healthy Cooking! Here you can find out more about Lorena.
My name is Lorena Grater and I am…well….many things.
I am a German Peruvian, a certified translator, a globetrotter, a mother, a wife, a YouTuber (uuuuh), a real food lover and a self-proclaimed chef creating healthy recipes that fit into my definition of clean eating. I am an Instant Pot Pro and a Meal Prep addict, too, to be more precise ;)
I live with my Mexican husband and two kids in snowy Montreal, Canada, which officially makes my kids polyglots because they are growing up with 4 languages. How amazing is that?
Green Healthy Cooking is my online baby and where I share healthy recipes, detailed cooking tutorials, and other clean-eating how-tos.
My Story
I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Germany by a German father and a Peruvian mother. My grandfather was a butcher and my dad’s best friends were all hunters. Meaning, I grew up on wild meat, bucket loads of fresh fruits and vegetables, sweet potato, avocado, and quinoa because that’s what my mom knew how to cook from her culture. Basically everything was always cooked from scratch and I was taught to cook as early as 3 years old.
When I moved out of my parents’ home to go study at university I learned for the first time that there were other people that did not know how to cook, nor did they know what eating healthy actually looked like. Even after graduating and meeting “older” people (lol) that had had their independent kitchens for a while, I still kept meeting a lot that were struggling with cooking and meeting their nutritional needs and always asking me for advice and help.
I found out quickly that for most of my friends eating healthy sounded super complicated, not very appealing, and super expensive.
I’m not a nutritionist (though I wish I were) but I grew up being kept updated on the latest research and development in nutrition studies and never stopped reading about nutrition up until today. My mother was always very interested in this topic and definitely passed on the hunger for nutrition knowledge to me.
Needless to say, I felt like there was a huge need for easy but delicious healthy recipes made with clean ingredients. Recipes that could easily be accessed by everybody at any time from anywhere in the world. Recipes for all those that had a really hard time wrapping their head around eating healthy to feel healthy.
Green Healthy Cooking was born out of a passion to help others find joy in the kitchen and enjoy the wonderful natural flavors of clean ingredients. Healthy eating and clean eating doesn’t have to be complicated at all, can be incredibly delicious, and also fit into everybody’s budget.

A Quick Idea for Your Health Boards (Worth a Read)
Hi,
I truly respect your time, so I’ll keep this clear and meaningful. I’d kindly request that you read this once fully, as the idea is designed specifically around the kind of health and healthy-food content you already create so well.
I’ve been exploring your boards, and I genuinely appreciate how well-structured and thoughtfully presented your pins are. It’s clear your audience trusts your content, and that level of credibility is not easy to build — which is exactly why your profile stood out to me.
That’s also why I’m reaching out with something that doesn’t change what’s already working — but is designed to strategically expand it.
The Idea
Right now, one of the strongest-performing patterns on Pinterest is the combination of:
Healthy food content + structured wellness solutions
This approach has been increasingly used by established health creators to expand their reach without affecting their core content — which is why it aligns naturally with your boards.
People searching for recipes are very often also looking for:
• Better metabolism
• Gut health support
• Balanced blood sugar
• Higher daily energy
• Weight management
• Overall wellness
This isn’t a different audience — it’s the same audience at the next step of intent.
When structured correctly, this combination tends to increase engagement, strengthen distribution signals, and improve overall board visibility — rather than compete.
Your boards are already perfectly positioned for this.
The Collaboration Concept (Simple & Low Effort)
We run a 10-day structured collaboration test.
From your side, it’s minimal:
• Create one new board (e.g., Health & Wellness Solutions)
• Create a section
• Add me as collaborator
That’s it.
From there, I handle everything:
• High-quality pin design
• SEO & keyword structuring
• Content positioning
• Posting schedule & consistency
Your existing boards remain exactly the same.
No disruption.
No extra workload.
Execution Plan
Day 1: 9 professionally structured, SEO-optimized pins
Day 2–10: 1 optimized pin per day
All content is designed to feel helpful, natural, and aligned with trusted health content — not aggressive or promotional.
Why This Is Worth a Simple Test
• Your audience already trusts your content
• This topic is highly searched and currently trending
• It naturally complements your existing boards
• It can increase engagement and reach signals
• It may open additional monetization opportunities
• And it requires almost no effort from you
Most importantly — this is just a 10-day test.
No long-term commitment.
No risk.
If it performs well → we continue and scale.
If not → you can simply remove access, completely fine.
A Quick Personal Note
I’ve put genuine thought into this because when this type of collaboration is aligned correctly, it often turns into something that performs consistently well over time — both in reach and value for the audience.
Your Perspective Matters
If you were open to trying something like this, I’d genuinely value your input:
What small adjustment or condition would make this collaboration ideal from your side?
Next Step (Simple & Flexible)
If this feels worth testing, a simple reply like:
“Yes, let’s test it.”
is perfect, and I’ll guide the quick setup.
It’s a simple test, but in many cases this is exactly the kind of small step that leads to meaningful growth when the fit is right.
Even a quick “yes”, “no”, or “maybe later” reply helps — I truly appreciate your time either way.
If you’d prefer, I can also share a short outline of the board structure and pin approach for full transparency before you decide.
I genuinely believe this could be a simple, low-effort way to build something valuable together — while continuing to serve your audience in the best way possible.
Warm regards,
Devesh Arora

Hello,
I’ve taken some time to review your food content and genuinely appreciate the clarity and structure you maintain across your recipes. The way you balance practical guidance with engaging presentation makes your platform both trustworthy and enjoyable for readers.
I’m interested in exploring a potential collaboration. I regularly create original, well researched food content and would be happy to develop a piece tailored specifically to your audience and editorial style.
I’m currently planning upcoming articles and would love to align a topic that fits naturally within your existing categories. Please feel free to share your contribution guidelines or any requirements I should follow.
Looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate.
Best regards,
