pork shoulders, oranges, apple cider vinegar, garlic, spices.

TRIM FAT

Trim as much of the thick layers of fat from your pork shoulders.

MAKE ORANGE JUICE

Juice oranges to make 1 cup of juice. Add chopped garlic and spices.

FINISH MARINATE

Add achiote paste to orange juice, mix well. Use a blender to speed up the process. Add marinate to pork and cover.

PREPARE INSTANT POT

Line pot with banana leaves, add marinated pork and top with more leaves.
