MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! Tell me, what did Santa bring you this year? Was he good to you? I want to know it ALL!!!! Well Santa brought Green Healthy Cooking a VERY special gift. A logooooo! Finally! I’ve been in contact with several logo designers and requested portfolios and quotes and wrote a bit back and forth and finally decided on one that I absolutely love. She is incredible. Her work is outstanding and on top of that she is simply an easy going girl with whom I’ve had excellent e-mail communication. I’m super confident that she will hand in the most amazing logo in history here in a few weeks. I CAN’T WAIT to see it and show it to all of you. I’m so excited. Green Healthy Cooking has been screaming for a well designed logo right from the start but it just wasn’t within the budget and had to wait and wait and wait. Now that Santa is taking care of the financial part, aham, it is at last time for a really, really, really awesome logo. As soon as I have it, I’ll blog about the details of its creation. Can’t wait to tell you all about it. For now, how about I tell you a little something about this Banana Bread French Toast instead? *angelical* “ahhhhhhh!”
The Banana Bread with Maple Candied Walnuts recipe I’ve shared with you on Monday already and there I’ve already announced that I was going to show you a very special tweak to the recipe to make on Christmas morning. Banana Bread French Toast!! How brilliant is that?? It tastes extraordinary! The maple candied walnuts I’ve told you about already but I have to tell you again. They taste devine. They taste like heaven. Seriously. Like h-e-a-v-e-n! Now on top of that imagine a moist bread that tastes super mapely and has only been sweetened with maple syrup and very ripe bananas, NO refined sugar whatsoever. Not one ounce ladies and gentlemen. Not even one gram. The bread is sweet, but only thanks to the good stuff. Now, on top of all THAT, imagine a soft egg coat, fresh raspberries and tons and tons of maple syrup, are you licking your screen already? I’m not going to tell you that the extra maple syrup is any good for your teeth or your belly fat BUT it’s Christmas morning for God’s sake and the bread already is quite healthy and what about the raspberries? Berries are a superfood! We can cheat a tiny little bit for just today, can’t we? YES WE CAN! So hand over that maple syrup please, I need a gallon for my French Toast ;)
